Penny performing!
February 2012
Hello
and a rather belated Happy New Year.
I'm back from from a tricky phase of illness and raring to go.
Loads happening, starting with my guest slot at Soho Theatre with the fabulous Abnormally Funny People crew. Click here for more details.
It would be lovely to have your support, then maybe they will ask me back for a longer slot! Get ready for bawdy and bold spoken word with the lovely Jo Cox, as always, supporting on cello, and in making silly faces with me.
This website is undergoing development at the moment so if would be great to hear what you would like to see. I'm hoping to put on more extracts of writing, some audio links and who knows what. Tell me.
Contact me too if you'd like to discuss any work opportunity. I'm keen to take my spoken word on air, to do more readings and naturally to find more publishing outlets. I'm good and always meet deadlines.
Try me and see.
Meanwhile, stay warm and hope to see loads of you on February 20th. When spring might be nudging its face out at last!
blessings
Penny x

How did all this stuff with words start?
If I get two or more that roll together that’s it. The story starts, and out it pours. I don't have writer's block, I have writer's flood. I can unpeel like a fruit, words juicy, words sweet, words bitter.
From early literary adventures in which I wrote a play and a mini novel at the age of seven and one quarter, if I fast forward to Penny Pepper now, I’m at a junction of fresh beginnings. Eager to use a culmination of many years of writing. Have stories - will write, will read, will perform.
In the end, all these rampant words and tangling stories are my efforts to make sense of this crazy-dark, scary-light extraordinary thing called life. No matter what, I’ll work and write and write some more, to have you all thinking, laughing and wondering.
