It Hasn’t Happened Yet… follows the journey of up-and-coming comedian Alex Saunders as she navigates her way through the minefields of disability and comedy - with wheelchair and alter-ego in tow. Plunging chair-first into territory where few dare to go, Carr's first one woman play challenges conventional perceptions about comedy, ambition, insecurity, fame and even fish.

Liz Carr is a disabled actor, writer, stand-up comedian and broadcaster. She began her performing career when she co-founded the disabled women's comedy sketch group 'Nasty Girls' in 2001. In 2003 she trained with Graeae Theatre Company and worked with The Young Vic. She made her stand-up debut with Abnormally Funny People in 2005, was runner up in the prestigious Hackney Empire New Act Competition in 2007 and is now a regular on both the disability and mainstream comedy circuits. She writes for and co-presents an irreverent talk show for the BBC’s disability website Ouch! and is a regular media commentator on issues of disability and beyond.

"supremely funny, twisted and edgy... A darkly comic mix of theatre and stand up." - Critics Choice, Time Out.

“This show actually rests on her incisive and often provocative writing” - Metro

“Nothing is sacred with Liz Carr and Melbourne is seldom graced with a talent like hers”- Art of Difference, Melbourne
