Liz

Four on the Floor

2007, Gilded Balloon
"Four on the floor sees this year’s Hackney Empires New Act finalist showcasing their fierce and laser-sharp comedic stand up talents. If you want to see the stand up names of the immediate future, look no further. Liz Carr, Christian Lee, Luke Toulson and Holly Walsh should all be seen; their diverse ranges and approaches to stand up comedy underscoring every reason why ‘new talent’ is formidable."

Unnatural Comedy Selection

The Unnatural Comedy Selection

2007, Laughing Horse Free Festival, Linsay's.
"When Darwin wrote 'Origin of the Species', he didn't have the likes of comics Liz carr (Hackney Empire runner-up) and Jane Bostock (Hackney resident) in mind. An hour of missing links, monkey business and more!" Click here for more.

Bravetarts

Bravetarts

2006, Holyrood Tavern.
Following the success of Abnormally Funny People at Edinburgh Fringe 2005, myself and Tanyalee Davis returned to the Fringe with the show Bravetarts. A little stand-up, a little chat and a LOT of taking the piss! ‘They may take our wheels, but they'll never take … OUR FREEDOM!’. Funded through the Arts Council, Bravetarts previewed in London at Battersea Arts Centre, Jackson’s Lane and Soho Theatre before a 5 night run at the Holyrood Tavern, Edinburgh. Cast of Abnormally Funny People

Abnormally Funny People

2005, Pleasance Dome.
Abnormally Funny People is a group of gifted stand-up comedians strutting their funny stuff. All but one of them is disabled. They are all very, very, very funny people. Premiered a sell out show at the Fringe, funded by BSkyB. Now back together and performing monthly at the Soho Theatre in London. Click here for more.
