In 2005, I had my stand up debut in a show called Abnormally Funny People where I performed alongside disabled comedians Tanyalee Davis, Steve Day, Chris McCausland, and Simon Minty and the abnormally normal Steve Best. The show premiered in London at Soho Theatre and Jackson’s Lane Theatre before moving to the Pleasance Dome, Edinburgh Fringe Festival 3-28th August 2005. SKY TV funded and filmed the show for a documentary shown on Sky and regularly repeated on the Community Channel. In April 2006, AFP reunited for 3 sell out nights at Soho Theatre (Paul Betney and Gareth Berliner replacing Steve Day and Chris McCausland) and plans are afoot for some further dates in Autumn 2006.
I’m now doing my stand up apprenticeship by regularly performing 5 / 10 minute open spots on the comedy circuit mainly in and around London. I’m currently doing a couple of gigs a week, entering new act competitions, performing at various disability arts events and have just completed the Jill Edwards stand up course at Komedia in Brighton.

From 2001-2004, I wrote and performed with the disabled women’s comedy sketch group Nasty Girls which I co-founded.
